Slovenia receives Safe Travels Stamp
Slovenia is one of the first countries in the world to receive the Safe Travels Stamp from the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC). This means that Slovenia's health and hygiene standards are consistent with global health and hygiene protocols for experiencing safe travel.
The specially designed stamp Safe Travels, that has been supported also by UNWTO (United Nations World Travel Organisation) will allow travellers to recognise destinations around the world which have adopted health and hygiene global standardised protocols – so consumers can experience ‘Safe Travels’. Standards outlined by WTTC are included into Slovenian GREEN & SAFE label that is communicating responsible travel standards of Slovenian tourism. Through this label the superior hygiene protocols have been highlighted together with sustainable recommendations for tourist service providers and destinations. With all efforts based on safety, responsibility and sustainability, in Slovenia we want to gain our guests' trust in Slovenia as a green and safe tourist destination.
